Online Knowledge Building - $130: You can do all your academic training Online from anywhere when you create your account with PADI. Sign up online by clicking on the "Get Started with PADI eLearning" logo. Give them your registration information and see the Dive Connections name at the bottom of each page. You'll know that you are also signing up with the local shop that supports us and helps provide funding and resources for our club program.
Pool & Open Water Training - $350: When you sign up Online, you will be contacted by our Instructor so that you know where to come when you have a question and to get you started in the water. Our one fee covers most everything. We will provide you with your crew pack, dive log and recreational dive planner, instructor fee, rental scuba gear and all of the benefits and services that a full service dive shop provides.
After completing the Knowledge and Skill building portion, you will be able to complete your certification by performing 4 open water dives under the supervision of an Instructor. These dives assure that you will comfortably transition your skills from the pool to the wilds of open water.
We provide everything you will need to learn to dive, but we just ask that you provide your own Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Booties.
Mask, Snorkel, Fins & Booties: Bring your own or get them from us, but a properly fitting, quality set of personal gear is a must for you to enjoy scuba or snorkeling wherever you may go. Don't scrimp here or you won't be comfortable in the water. Our sponsor, Dive Connections, has a full array of gear to meet every desire. If you want full service and wide selection, then please go by the shop in Charlottesville. They also provide a special package for those who would like us to just have the gear for you on the first day of class and know that someone local will stand behind it.
